Mechanical Tides

A document of the movement of the moon across the night sky. Using a 35mm slide projector rigged to a pulley system this kinetic sculpture pulls a piece of blue acetate up and down whilst the moon moves across the frame, mimicking the gravitational pull that creates lunar tides.
