Trig Tent (Guernsey) 2010 (Polystyrene Board, Wall Map)

Trig Tent (Southall) 2010 (Wood, Dureene, Wall Map)

Trig Tent (2010) is a sight-specific sculpture constructed of three triangles. The triangles are formed by connecting three triangulation points marked on Ordinance Survey maps. The three triangulation points used will be the closest to the exhibition space/gallery. These triangles are then scaled up into a pattern to be cut from black dureene material. A frame is then constructed and the canvas placed over. Each time the work is shown it will be re-made, using different triangulation points depending on the works location.
